JNA Institute of Culinary Arts was established in the year 1988 with the aim to provide quality training to the students of the food service industry.The school provides efficiently trained individual to the food industry the graduates from the first program of the institute are still employed in the food service industry in ever increasing areas of responsibility and is continuously developing curriculum and training methodologies, and the school encourages the ex-students or the passed out graduates from the school to stay in touch with the school throughout the career and ask them to come back to talk to the new students of the school and help them through the hard times of the training and aid them in efficiently train and prepare them for successful career in the hospitality industry.

In the year 1992 the JNA Institute of Culinary Arts was recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, State Board of Private Licensed Schools and was granted a License to operate as a private licensed school. In February of 1994, the school became accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). In February of 2010, the school was reaccredited for a fourth 5-year period. ACCSC has recognized JNA Institute of Culinary Arts is dedicated in generating well-trained graduates for the field.
The training is provided to the students with the help of well-trained faculty members who use modern educational techniques, and teach the students in a specially designed hands-on training and theory classes that is designed to provide the students with the necessary background and experience to become successful career in the field.
